Assorted updates!

Hello everyone. Things are starting to settle down and we just wanted to let you know of a few things that are in store for the game here. It's kind of a lengthy list, so please bear with us.

PERSONA CHANGES;
By popular request, we're going to allow people to change their Persona. The new page for doing so is right here. Do note that you must have at least 20 levels in order to change Persona as that will be the cost to do so. Levels WILL have to be from the latest Activity Check posted (so no posting a request if your character is level 19 and would have gained a level by that point please). All of the information is (hopefully) provided on the linked page, so feel free to read it and give it a shot if you're interested!

CANON DOWNGRADE;
It's also been asked that we consider allowing characters to 'downgrade' for their canon. We are going to permit this in the same manner we provide canon updates. It is up to the player submitting the request to conjure a feasible reason as to why they would suddenly lose a chunk of their memories. We are allowing this so that players don't have to lose their current levels/Persona/cr.

REGAINS;
Also by popular request, regains will be slowly trickling into the game through events. We'll inform you properly during which events that regains will be given to the characters. Some things of note regarding them though are:

• Weapons and armors with mystical powers will not have those powers when they enter Prospero. They will be 'leveled up' to fit the character currently acquiring them (so a level 60 character will have a stronger sword than a level 10 character obviously)
• Other items like vehicles, pets/familiars are also in the works.
• We are considering how to work physical appearances as a regain so any ideas on this would be appreciated.

PLOT;
We've been fairly quiet plot-wise and for that, we apologize. We wanted to inform players that there is a lot of stuff in store, including some out-of-Prospero shenanigans that will be coming up in the near future. So if your character has been looking to get out of town for a bit, they might be interested in this! There will be plenty of plot-related things happening in Prospero too, so no one should feel left out if their characters refuse to leave the city.

DUNGEON LOGS;
It has been requested that we resume the monthly dungeon grinding logs. Monthly dungeon logs will be posted at the beginning of the month by mods. Dungeon logs posted by mods will require a different thread for each group (up to five characters) and may have plot-related reveals/regains in them pending on the actions of the characters involved. Players are free to do their own dungeon logs as well. If they need a mod to poke their head in, please don't hesitate to contact us.

ENABLE ME/TEST DRIVE MEME;
We will be posting one of these every month in-game for future applicants and for those who really just want to play around. We will also have a post with community promotion links/code for people to copy/paste in various places. I personally don't visit anon communities, but for those players who wish to promote for us, the option will be there. We'll make a mini update when we have that information available.

WEATHER REPORT;
Also by request, we'll be posting a weather report for the game so that characters who aren't familiar with the area can know what to expect. Weather may or may not be determined by events as well. With this report, we'll also try to post the position of the moon so that characters can be on the look out for the stronger shadow encounters.

I'm curious about the physical regains because I'm planning to all a Digimon. Relevant to my interest, as you can see.

Bill and I are still trying to work out the details regarding that because I understand the value of physical appearance to some players, but there's the game's nature to respect. However, the seriousness of it has been lessened somewhat (seeing as Persona are summonable during the day for instance) so we're working on a solution for that.

As soon as we get it all ironed out, we'll let you know?

Maybe they can regain some facial aspects and such? For example ears, claws, eyes, idk?

Oh good, I was saving up the nuts to ask for a Persona Change once I canon-update Asuka some more. Just letting you know I appreciate it, and have one in mind~

I'm glad to hear a lot of this! :) In particular, the weather/lunar cycle report will be handy for keeping people on the same page, and while regains are something I never expected to see here, the possibilities for drama, shenanigans, and smoothing over fridge logic are endless! -- Pteryx

I'm assuming powers are off limits for regains, but would it be possible to get eyes that glow when the character gets angry back as an aspect of appearance?

Yeah powers are going to be out, we're still working on appearance based regains but believe me you'll know once we decide ;3
