It's just a dream

I'm sure this comes as little surprise to anyone, but Maiya, Grainne, and Saber are all returning to their respective worlds (or I guess their ends for 2/3 of these characters). This game has been a lot of things for me over the past ten months, but there are just too many factors making it more of a chore than something one would do for fun. With that in mind, the only inevitable outcome is to step away.

Saber's done so much in this game and despite that, there were so many other things that I wish she could have done. I had post ideas stashed away in a notepad file, as well as amazing CR for all three of my ladies. I'm sorry to those joint posts I never got around to and for all of those who have grown close to my ladies only to lose them in the end.

While Grainne and Maiya have very few possessions to grabby hands at, Saber has a few. I'd like for Gilgamesh to have first choice, should he want, on Sir Pounce-A-Lot since he was the one who originally acquired the cub for her. If he doesn't want to adopt the brother, I'll find another home for him. Saber's motorcycle, should the mods deem that this regain sticks around, will go to Diarmuid. Embrace the steel horse, her knightly brother. Her sword will go to Minato, so enjoy having a lovely gift from Gilgamesh sensei, pal. Her money, because she has a decent amount saved up from working three jobs non-stop, goes to Shirou so that he can continue to live in their home.

I honestly don't see a return in the future, so I wish everyone the best of luck, especially those new to the mod team. I'm truly sorry I couldn't make this easier on the CR and I feel horrendous that I'm dropping when so many people rely on these characters.

New stuff and a few rules changes

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlefolk!  The TVK mods have been working on plot and game construction for you, and have  a few treats for you this week.

1.  We have a locations page made by Dave!  Check it out:  http://velvetyhelpers.dreamwidth.org/8909.html

2.  We are still having open apps, but we accept them on weekends only, either Saturday or Sunday (Sometimes friday night if we can all get it together).   Revisions are done when we have time or during acceptances over the weekend.   This is more or less just official notification of how things generally worked anyway.

3.  A reminder and an addendum to our mature content policy: Just a reminder that any content that would be considered adult (graphic violence, sex) must be underneath a cut, warned, and friends locked. In addition, any post that will involve sexual violence will need mod approval before being posted. These posts will require the same warnings, just only after a mod has aproved the posts. While we will allow players to deal with this content in their posts, we do ask that any posts involving this content are written in a non graphic manner.

OKAY THIS IS REALLY HARD FOR ME BECAUSE DROPPING CHARACTERS IS JUST A THING I DON'T DO. SERIOUSLY.

I know I put him on hiatus, but after some thought and discussion, I'll be dropping Kaiji. I love playing him, but he's gotten into a big rut here. He's not the easiest character to play and circumstances in Prospero just have him back to being miserable and shiftless. It's not a fun place to be with a character and I can't see a way to draw him out. So with a heavy heart, I'll be sending Kaiji back to Tokyo... to deal with Ichijou and the Pachinko Bog I guess. Erk. (SPOILER: THINGS ACTUALLY SORT OF WORK OUT FOR HIM. KINDA. A LITTLE.)

I LOVE YOU LOTS, TVK, AND YOU'RE NOT RID OF ME YET. I'll be back in a month or two with a annoying charming OC, but first, I have to get IRL stuff sorted out.

I've had trouble getting excited and getting around to my tags, and when I don't even have enough for AC then it's time to go ahead and bite the bullet. I have enjoyed playing here though, and all of my CR has been fun.
