AC results & modly notes

The following characters will be ejected from the game unless the players agree to probation or can provide activity for them:
Orihime Inoue
Caster/FSN (pretty sure she was dropped in favor of archer?)
Chichiri
Shion Uzuki
If I've overlooked your comment in the AC or a hiatus notice, please comment to inform me. Additionally, if you have not commented to the TAKEN CHARACTERS LIST, please do so. Characters not listed there will be removed next activity check.

There have been a couple of questions on Plurk regarding some of the game mechanics, so the mods have sat down to discuss them. Hopefully these answers will provide all of the information needed and yes, the FAQ's will be amended to include them.

1) If a character is applied for at a time they have a serious wound (like losing a limb), would they still have that wound when they arrive in Prospero?
This is up to player discretion. They could have the lost limb and the wound sealed so they could live. Just remember if the character dies within their arrival, all damage including scars will be repaired. So it's not ideal to have a character show up bleeding to death. There are characters who are from post-death who have chosen to keep their scars, but didn't arrive on the edge of death. This made it so they were aware that they did die, but were alive once more.

2) Do the canons the characters come from exist in games? For example, would famous books and movies be easy to find?
This is a tricky situation as it would vary from player to player. Ultimately in the end, we'd like to leave it to player discretion. There have been incidents in games where characters have found media about themselves already and there have been other times where players would prefer to not be fourth-walled. In a situation where the entire cast in-game agrees, the canon simply won't exist. For example, if the Umineko and Fate/Stay Night casts all agreed that the visual novels shouldn't exist, then they would be completely different titles with similar characters and story lines, but nothing exact. This is so no one can come up to someone and say ~*SPOILERS*~ and break their brain. We just ask that you keep all of your fellow players in mind - if you want to make a post about the latest Harry Potter movie, contact the players in the case to ask if it's alright. While we can't police fourth wall material for future applicants, we can just ask that players be mindful of any new applicants who may or may not enjoy the shenanigans that come with it.

For future references, we personally prefer all questions get asked on the FAQ post instead of places like Plurk where they might be overlooked accidentally. The mods don't mind answering questions that might not take much thought behind them, but things that effect the game as a whole are better placed there.

ETA: Lazy calendar for this month is posted. I'm not sure if I missed anything going on, so if there are events in March you want others to know about, fill out the form there. Next month's will look a lot nicer, I promise <3
